Roswell PAL has an ongoing spring/summer golf program that reaches out to 45 kids per week. High school aged kids act as mentors to the younger children. Volunteers and supporters of the program include the Roswell PD, Eastern NM Medical Center, Roswell School District staff, Probation Officers and a Municipal Court Judge. Adding to the volunteer list is a Roswell Doctor that felt the program was so successful in reaching out to the children in his city, that he worked his schedule out so that he could volunteer his time to this very important program.
