State NMSPAL Flag Football Playoffs we held at Gadsden HS in Anthony, NM on Saturday, April 30. Approximately 200 fans, kids, law enforcement and parent volunteers were present.      Seventeen teams were involved from Lordsburg, Anthony, Chaparal, La Union and Las Cruces.     In the 5-6 Division, first place went to Lordsburg PAL with runnerup going to Dona Ana PAL.      In the 7-8 Division, first place went to Lordsburg Orange and second place went to Lordsburg Blue.      A total of 12 games were settled in overtime. Four games went into double overtime and two games went into triple overtime.      Special thanks go out to the Dona Ana Sheriff's Department, Gadsden HS Football staff, Coach Ocampo, players, and volunteer parents who helped with the day-long festivities.      Lordsburg, Roswell and Tohatchi PAL'S have already indicated their interest in bidding for the 2006 Spring Football playoffs.
